Peggy Smith

Winston Salem – Mrs. Peggy Sides Smith, 83, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was born October 30, 1934 to the late Paul David and Perry Myers Sides. Her memories of lessons learned from her mother and father, the meaning of hard work growing up on the family farm, and her travels with loved ones brought her joy. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Tommy Hulin Smith, her three brothers; Milton, Wilburn, and Douglas Sides. And two sisters; Pauline Nifong, and Shirley Truett. Surviving are; two sons; Steve, and Ronald Shell, a stepson; Gary Smith, and a stepdaughter; Tonya Robbins, many special grandchildren, and great grandchildren, three brothers; Roscoe, Homer, and Bruner Sides.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Michael Gates officiating.
