Kernersville – Mrs. Heather Ann Machor McDonald, 46, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 26, 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio to Dennis and Joyce Machor. Heather was able to travel to England as an Exchange Student and served as a student teacher in New Zealand. She was a gifted teacher and learned everything she could about literacy. She loved helping students learn to read and how to enjoy it. She even helped to teach other teachers different skills when working with students. Heather had many interests and hobbies, two of which were scrapbooking and antiquing with her husband, Brian. She loved everything Disney. Heather was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Heather in death are her maternal grandparents, Jasper and Jean Cianciolo; paternal grandparents, Edward and Mary Machor; father-in-law, Robert McDonald; and brother-in-law, Mark McDonald.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 20 years, Brian McDonald; two children, Kiernan and Riley McDonald; her parents, Dennis and Joyce Machor; two sisters, Michelle Sage (husband, Dan) and Amy Nelson (husband, James); mother-in-law, Karen McDonald; brother-in-law, Sean McDonald (wife, Nikki); eight nieces and nephews, Lainey, Gracyn, and Owen Sage, Piper, James D., Chloe and Hannah Nelson, and Miles McDonald; her best friend, Kristen Bakalarz and her family; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Forsyth Medical Center for their loving care for Heather.
