Mr. Daryl William Neve, 75. On Friday November 12, 2021 Daryl William Neve passed into the immediate presence of our Lord as a result of a motorcycle accident in Winston-Salem. He was born on July 14, 1946, in Geneva, NY to the late Douglas and Irene Neve, and three years later became the big brother to sister Carol Ann Neve McAtee, Pinnacle, NC. He became Uncle Daryl to four nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephew. He graduated from Northeast High School, Ft. Lauderdale, where he met the love of his life, Judy, 59 years ago and married her on Valentine's Day, 1969. They brought two beautiful sons into the world: Kyle (Crissy) Neve of King, and Dale (Angela) Neve of Salisbury, NC. The Neve family grew to include two sisters-in-law, Sue Rector and Karen Walters, of Venice, FL; five grandchildren: Courtney (Austin) Snow, Jared (Katie), Cameron, Drew, and Ashleigh Neve; four great-grandchildren: Anthony and Keegan Snow, and Everly and Grayson Neve, all of whom affectionately call him Grandpère. Additionally, Daryl has two half-brothers: Don (Janice) Neve of Alabama and Dan Neve of California. He proudly served his country in the US Army and Army Reserves and has supported veterans and wounded warriors. He retired from Fishel Steel in Winston after 28 years as a welder-fabricator and settled into retirement enjoying the things he loved best: working on projects in his basement shop, welding, machining, carpentry, plumbing, fishing, skeet shooting, and gunsmithing. A funerial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2021, at King Moravian Church with Rev. Doug Rights officiating. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, Rural Hall, NC. The family requests that friends and family make donations to the charity of their choice in Daryl’s memory.
