Austin Arrington

Austin Reid Arrington, 23, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 6, 2020. Austin was born on May 30, 1997 in Cabarrus Co. the son of Oceanus Christine Arrington. He graduated from East Forsyth High School in 2016 and received his HVAC certificate from Forsyth Tech. Austin was a very spiritual person, who loved his Lord and Savior. He loved baseball, golf and hunting with his “Pop”. Austin will be remembered for his personality, sense of humor and his ability to make others smile. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Rueben and Pearl Lunsford and his great-grandmother, Irene Arrington. Austin is survived by his mother, Oceanus “O.C.” Arrington; his fur baby son, Zhilo; his grandfather, Richard “Rick” Arrington (Kris); his great-grandfather, Richard “Pop” Arrington; his grandmother, Wanda Lunsford; his second family, The Mobley’s; his APIII Militia Family and his many, many friends, who he loved dearly. A graveside service celebrating Austin’s life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Arrington Family Cemetery, 1190 Wells Creek Rd., Madison, NC 27025.
