Zella Ruth Norris

Ms. Zella Ruth Houck Norris, 90, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was born March 20, 1932 in Ashe County, NC to Cecil Edgar Houck and Muncie Dare Conner Houck. Surviving are two sons, James L. Norris (Rose) and Jerry Norris (Joanne); four grandchildren, Pamela Drake (Phil), Jason Norris, John Tennant and Katie Pattinson (Chris); ten great grandchildren, Brittany Nicole, Alexis Elizabeth (Clinton), Mileena Marie (Micah), Marisa Ann (Mel), Samantha Evelyn, Trinity Noel, Devon Christopher, Aubrey Rose, Katelyn Mae and Justin Wayne; three sisters, Sue Patella, Gay Bennet and Jessie Violet Ragan and two brothers, James Harold Houck and Thomas D. Houck. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. A graveside will follow at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
