Wynne Allen Blair of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Trinity Elms Health and Rehab. He was born in Houston, Texas on November 8, 1948, to the late John S. Blair Jr. and Dorothy Wynne Blair. He received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Texas in Austin. Soon after, he began his marketing career in Consumer Package Goods at Hallmark in Kansas City, Pet Foods in St Louis, Missouri, Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, TX, and RJ Reynolds Tobacco. He retired from Competitive Edge Promotions, the company he founded in Winston-Salem, an advertising, and design firm. Surviving is his wife, Patricia Blair; daughter, Leslie Wynne Blair (Jenn) of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Ella, and Torin Blair; and brother, John S. Blair III, of Montgomery, Texas. Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Maryann Hough (Mark) of Cleveland, TN, and Renee Trogdon (Mark) of Raleigh; and two step-grandchildren, Elise Trogdon of Raleigh, and Lydia Trogdon of NYC. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winston-Salem Animal Shelter or ARF of Winston-Salem. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
