Worth Owen Robinson

Mr. Worth Owen Robinson, 78, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Robinson was born on April 21, 1937, in Alamance County, NC to the late Charles Bascom Robinson and Alice Fowler Robinson. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and served in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his wife, Kate Craven Robinson. Mr. Robinson is survived by three step-sons, Charles Bumgarner (Sherry) of Millers Creek, NC, Johnny Randall Bumgarner of Millers Creek, NC, and Rick Cousino of Maryland; one sister, Evelyn Shaver of Mt. Olive, NC; and four brothers, Thomas Avery Robinson of Eden, NC, Jack Burton Robinson of Spartanburg, SC, Olin Graham Robinson of Yadkinville, NC, and James Edward Robinson of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 21, 2015, at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Sears officiating. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Grace Baptist Church, 3305 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem NC 27127. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mr. Robinson.
