Winnie Edgar Bledsoe

Mr. Winnie Edgar Bledsoe passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was born May 8, 1948 in Surry County to the late Harvey and Ida Bledsoe. Mr. Bledsoe proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from R. J. Reynolds.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bledsoe was preceded in death by one brother: Johnny Wayne Bledsoe. He is survived by his two sons: Scotty (Melanie) Bledsoe and Lonnie (Laura) Bledsoe; two grandsons: Jordan and Austin; the mother of his children: Suzan Bledsoe; and a special friend: Sylvia Lawson.

A memorial service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Jenkinstown with the Rev. Randall Smith officiating.
