Wilma Jean Lowery

MOCKSVILLE, NC-Ms. Wilma Jean ""Lilly"" Lowery, 56, of Mocksville, NC, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Lowery was born on December 31, 1956 in Spartanburg, SC to James Paul Harrison and Betty Lee Palmer Harrison. Ms. Lowery was a 1973 graduate of Princeton High School in Princeton, West Virginia and she was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Everyone knew Wilma as an outgoing, free spirit who made friends easily and never met a stranger. Preceding Ms. Lowery in death are her parents, one brother, James Daniel Harrison and her great-grandmother, Isabel Farren Tracey. Ms. Lowery is survived by her two daughters, Heather Lilly Sanders and Amanda Lilly Simmons, both of Farmington, NC; six grandchildren, Jonathon ""Blake"" Booie, Brandon Lee Booie, Taylar Marie Lilly-Johnson, Dylan Tate Sanders, Dustin Lee Simmons, and Jacob Gavin Lilly; two sisters, Brenda K. Hok (Rudy) of Milledgeville, GA and Barbara Ann Gray of Rocksprings, Wyoming; one brother, David Michael Harrison (Patricia) of Princeton, West Virginia and numerous other loving family members. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Friends Baptist Church, 1840 Lewisville-Clemmons Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012 with Pastor Daron Osborne officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
