Mrs. Willie Mae Payne Ellis 87 passed away Friday July 19, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 3, 1925 and earlier in her life she was employed at Southern Bell Telephone Company. Her husband Marvin W. Ellis of 58 years passed away on April 13, 2006 , also a daughter Melanie Renee Ellis Lovett on March 3, 2007. Her parents were Cora Love Frazier and Rober Earl Payne who preceded her in death, also a sister Doris Elizabeth and brothers Leslie and Jim. Surviving are a daughter Tina Gail Ellis Phillips of Castleberry Fl., Ben Payne and Wilma Lakey Payne of Greensboro, granddaughter Harmony and grandson Corie Phillips and great- grand- daughter Samantha Phillips of Winter Springs ,FL sister-in-law Sarah Styers Ellis of Winston- Salem .A funeral service will be conducted Monday July 22, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Parklawn Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Howard Wilburn officiating.
