Mrs. Willie Craver Clark, 75, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center after a courageous battle with kidney disease and cancer for an extended period of time. She was born October 17, 1934 in Forsyth County. Mrs. Clark was a member of Fairview Moravian Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed playing tennis and exercising. Mrs. Clark loved the outdoors, planting flowers, and going to the beach with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents, Harvey and Leota Carrington. Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Ralph Clark of the home; two sons, Neal Clark and wife Tina of Rocky Mount, NC and Gregg Clark of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Steven, Taylor, and Ashley Clark; also surviving is a brother, Frank Craver and wife Kate of Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Fairview Moravian Church with Rev. Scott Venable officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Moravian Church, 6550 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27106. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the Clark Family.
