William "Bill" Leavell

Mr. William “Bill” Calvin Leavell, 75, passed away September 8, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born January 30, 1947, in Georgia to the late Roy Leavell and Bessie Wright Leavell. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a very devoted Christian. He served his country in the United States Air Force. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling to the mountains and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Debbie Leavell; son, Jeff Leavell (Ammi); three grandchildren, Allison, Alana, and Jacob; three siblings, Janice Schell, Steve Leavell (Linda), and Donnie Leavell; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be conducted 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday September 12, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, Attn: Finance, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103 or the Alzheimer Association, 225 N.
