William "Bill" Cordell, Jr.

Mr. William “Bill” Charles Cordell, Jr., 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born February 15, 1953 in Chattanooga, TN. Bill graduated in 1971 from Ledford High School and attended North Point Pentecostal Holiness Church in High Point. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Delores Pennigton Cordell and William Charles Cordell, Sr. Surviving are his son, William Charles Cordell, III (Kristin); a granddaughter, Charli Rayne Cordell; two sisters, Judy Martin (Jerry) and Pamela Cordell Ensley (Danny L.) and one niece, Jennifer Goonan and three nephews, Jeff Martin, Jeremy Martin and Brian Russell.. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Darrell Greene officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
