Mr. William ""Bill"" Samuel Stoltz, formerly of Rural Hall, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Walter Samuel Stoltz and Pearlie May Grubbs Stoltz. Mr. Stoltz was a retired truck driver with over 35 years of service and was member of Rural Hall Church of Christ. He was an avid Nascar Fan and enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stoltz was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise White Stoltz; five sisters; and one step-son, Terry McCuiston. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Ruby Stoltz of the home; two daughters, Cathy Plunkett (Vernon) of Rural Hall and Janet Wall (Steve) of Rural Hall; one step-daughter, Debbie McCuiston McDonald (Jim) of Stokesdale; nine grandchildren, Brandon and Michael Wall of Rural Hall, Robbie Plunkett (Erica) of VA Beach, Jay Plunkett of Rural Hall, Joey McCuiston (Jessica) and Michael McCuiston (Amber) all of Kernersville, also Jaymi, Erin Haleigh, and Addison McDonald all of Stokesdale; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Dr. Roy Carter, Rev. David Miller and Peter Cain, Minister officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 4 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rural Hall Church of Christ, 280 Bethania-Rural Hall Road, Rural Hall, NC 27045 or to Central Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1715 NC Highway 68 N, Oak Ridge, NC 27310.
