William Ralph Smith

Mr. William ""Ralph"" Smith, 93, of Advance passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Smith was born in Alabama on March 27, 1919 to Samuel Jones and Ethel Armstrong Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Lelia Mae Smith; a son, William Glen Smith; four daughters, Glenda Wendel, Lori Myers, Lisa Smith and Vonda Anders; two step daughters, Brenda James and Sharon Norris; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a brother, Wren Smith; two sisters, Maxine Lyle and Sis Smith and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Will Pryor officiating.
