William Darrell Smith

COLFAX - Mr. William Darrell Smith, 59, was welcomed into his heavenly home on Friday, June 19, 2015. Darrell was born on May 6, 1956 in Guilford County to the late William Daffron and Lucille Duggins Smith. Darrell was a building contractor for 20 years and later was a quality engineer at Thomas Built Buses.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Teresa ""Terri"" Smith; one sister-in-law, Dawn Smith (husband, Tommy); a niece, Erin Riggs (husband, Doug); and a great niece, Meredith Riggs.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at The Bridge Fellowship in Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
