William Shouse

Mr. William Henry Shouse, 82, passed away July 4, 2021, at his residence.  He was born July 15, 1938, in Forsyth County to John Ernest Shouse and Edna Vaughn Shouse.  William served in the United States Army (ABN) during the Korean Conflict Era.  He retired from RJ Reynolds with many years’ service.  He enjoyed trading collectibles and working on the farm looking after his cows.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Frances Gordy Shouse.  He is survived by two daughters, Tina Shouse and Tammy Mihu (Ronald); one son, William “Ernie” Shouse (Kim); six grandchildren, Nicholas (Samantha) Clark, Jonathon (Corinne) Mihu, Bryan, Jonah, Gabriel, and Oliver; two great-grandchildren, Madyson and Avery Clark; numerous nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Peggy McMahan.  In memory of William, the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
