William Pruitt

My heart is broken. Yesterday I lost the love of my life, my best friend, and the amazing father of my children. Scott was charismatic, witty, and always brightened any room with his infectious smile. I only hope he knew that I adored him as much as he did me. The last 6 ½ years of knowing him have been the best years of my life. The details of his passing aren't important, but cherishing every moment with your loved ones is. Be sure to let your family and friends know just how much you love them. Time is precious. Rest in peace my darling Scott. He was very friendly and never met a stranger. He was adored by his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, William Arthur Pruitt, who passed away on September 27, 1969.

Scott is survived by his wife, Dana Pruitt and daughters, Sarabeth and Francesca Pruitt, all of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Alayna Marie Pruitt (19) of Roanoke Va.; and in-laws, Robert and Jane Lewis Sr. of Lincolnton, brother, Robert Lewis Jr. and wife Ingrid.

Also surviving are his mother, Jean Wells; step-father, Tim Lawrence; brothers Marc Pruitt and wife Gina and their daughters, Gillian and Gabriella, and Walter Pruitt.
Our son Scott will be missed at all family gatherings. He had tremendous love for his wife, Dana, and for his twin daughters Sarabeth and Frankie, and daughter Alayna.
