William 'Bill' Edgar Myers

Mr. William ""Bill"" Edgar Myers, 79, of Advance, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his home. He was born April 16, 1933 in Davie County to Lillie Hepler Myers and William Lincoln Myers. Mr. Myers was an active member of Baileys Chapel United Methodist Church where he held many positions. He loved his family, farming and hunting. Surviving are his wife of nearly 60 years, Virginia ""Betty"" Myers; one daughter, Bonnie Miller (David) of Advance; one son, Mark Myers of Advance; three grandchildren, Justin Miller (Holly), Danielle Miller and Will Myers all of Advance; one great grandson, Malachi Miller of Advance and one sister, Mary Myers Williams of Advance. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at Baileys Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Bob O'Keef officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
