KERNERSVILLE-William ""Bill"" Marshall McKaughan, 73, passed away Wednesday February 3, 2010. He was born April 17, 1936 in Forsyth Co. to the late William Harrison and Hazel Fulp McKaughan. Bill's biggest hobby was blacksmithing and woodworking. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean McKaughan. Surviving are his wife, Betty Paschal McKaughan of the home; his son, Joshua Lee McKaughan; and two step-children, Beverly Simmons Cornett, and Gregory Lane Simmons (Tammy). A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Monday, February 8, 2010 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Warren Owens officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 pm Monday, February 8, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
