William Bill Bunyard Martin

Mr. William ""Bill"" Bunyard Martin, age 78 passed away Monday evening November 22, 2010 at the Brian Center in Winston-Salem. Bill was born in Stokes County, December 2, 1931 to the late Charlie John and the late Georgia Simmons Martin. He was of the Baptist faith. Bill retired from Star Paper Company, was a veteran of the United States Army, enjoyed working at Flea Markets, traveling around the country, and the game of chance. Bill enjoyed life to its fullest and will be greatly missed by all his friends. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by his wife; Josie Ayers Martin, one sister; Aileen Martin Brown and one brother; Bobby Gene Martin, Sr. Surviving is his very special friend Linda Hart of Rural Hall and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 12:30 P.M. at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem by Pastor Robert Hutchens. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 11:30 A.M.
