William Zeno Marshall, Sr.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC-Mr. William Zeno Marshall, Sr., 78, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 30, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Marshall was born on October 22, 1936 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Charles Marshall and Christine Parker Marshall. He was the owner and operator of Zeno Marshall Used Cars, Inc. in Winston-Salem. Mr. Marshall enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. He looked forward to the spring season each year and watching flowers bloom. In addition to his parents, Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Reaves Marshall; one brother and four sisters. Mr. Marshall is survived by one son, William Zeno Marshall, Jr. (Sandra) of Winston-Salem; three grandsons, William Zeno Marshall, III (Kayla), Jason Allen Marshall and Brandon Maxwell Marshall, all of Winston-Salem; two great-grandsons; one brother, Jerry Marshall (Fran) of Lexington, NC; one sister, Rowena Reeves of Walkertown, NC; his loving companion, Joyce Smith of Winston-Salem; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Joey Yokeley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
