William "Bill" M. Jones

Mr. William ""Bill"" M. Jones, age 71 went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Bill was born July 28, 1944 in Danville, VA. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Bill trusted his life to Jesus and we know he's not suffering any more. He was a veteran of the US Army, retired from Exxon with thirty plus years of service, loved to hunt and fish and was of the Baptist faith. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Bolander, one daughter, Angie Swaim and one brother, Buford Lee Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his loving wife, Nell Jones. Three daughters; Cindy Garner, Donna Blalock and Lisa Inman. Two sons; Jeffery (Yayoi) Scarlette and Keith Jones. Four grandchildren; Abby (Baby Girl) Garner, Travis Tingle, Brooke Hoskins and Trey Swaim. Two great-grandchildren. His father, Bert Keith Bolander and one sister, Dalmar Collins. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Bill will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Jon White. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. Military honors will be conducted by the King American Legion Post 290. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
