William "Bill" Arthur Johnson

Mr. William ""Bill"" Arthur Johnson, 76, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at South Fork Assisted Living. Bill was born on September 24, 1938 in Forsyth County, NC to Irvin and Katie Mae Angel Johnson. Bill was an accomplished brick mason. He was also a loving husband and father. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marylee Ketner Johnson; one daughter, Shannon Lee Johnson; one brother, Irvin Johnson, Jr.; and one sister, Dorothy Powe. He is survived by one sister, Joann Johnson Smith (Dewey); and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Bill will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Mr. Jeff Messick officiating. The family would like to extend gratitude for the compassionate and loving care that Bill received while at South Fork Assisted Living.
