William Haun

Mr. William Neal Haun, 61, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Wake Baptist Medical Center. He was born September 13, 1960, in Mercer County, West Virginia to the late Gerald and Dixie Neal Haun. William enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends. He was a devoted father, husband, and brother, who loved his family deeply. William was a gifted artist, painting for work and his personal passion. William left behind his sweetie, Sheryl Richards Haun; two children, Christian Haun and Baylie Flanner and her special friend Quentin Harris; four sisters, Robin Compton (Randy), Ginger Teschendorf (Patrick), Jaime Bishop (Dave), Kelli Henegar and special friend Ron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2021, at Jefferson Christian Church in Rural Hall with Steve Cook, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at Jefferson Christian Church.
