William Harris

Mr. William Earl Harris, age 81 of Clemmons, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020.  He was born November 30, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Ora Edison Harris and Hazel Long Harris.  Mr. Harris had retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. He was a jack of all trades, loved all of his family and friends and enjoyed doing anything to help whoever he could.  He loved to pick and make people laugh...he loved his dogs and singing the gospel...he will be missed.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lee Chipman Harris.  Surviving are one son, Scott Harris and wife Melanie of Clemmons; one grandson, Christopher Harris and wife Jessica; two great grandchildren, Ryder Harris and Skyler Doomy.  A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Westlawn Gardens of memory by Rev.
