Mr. William Clifton ""Bill"" Fox, 85, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on June 14, 1923 to the late Oscar and Julia Weaver Fox. Mr. Fox was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He was a lifelong member of Northwoods Baptist Church where he remained active his entire life. Mr. Fox retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. in the Archer Division. He loved to make music with his friends and was an accomplished harmonica player. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Edna McGlamery Fox in 2000 and by a brother, Bob Fox. Mr. Fox is survived by his two daughters, Sharon Tickle and husband Danny and Gail Day both of Rural Hall, three grandchildren, Danny Bodenhamer of King, Kevin Bodenhamer and wife Tammy of Rural Hall and Magan Day of Rural Hall, three great-grandchildren, Danielle, Grason and Taylor, two brothers, Bynum Fox and wife Dovie and David Fox and wife Anita both of Winston-Salem, one sister, Becky Coffey of North Wilkesboro and a special friend, Grace Everhart of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Jim Thompson and Rev. Rufus Culler officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service on Wednesday at the Funeral Home
