William Erickson

Mr. William O. Erickson, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Bill was born July 7, 1930 in St. Paul, MN to Oscar V. Erickson and Dagny E. Mattson Erickson. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He retired from 3M Company after 38 years of distinguished service. In his free time, Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carole Anne Erickson; son, Greg Erickson; and daughter, Susan Powell and husband Ron.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held Saturday, July 14th at 10:00 AM at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. Interment with military honors will follow the service at the church. The family will greet friends immediately following the interment. Light refreshments will be served.

The family requests no flowers be sent. Memorials may be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 2575 Parkway Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
