William Loman Edwards

Mr. William Loman Edwards, 66, of Fox Meadow Lane, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on April 16, 1942 in Forsyth County to the late Romie and Mamie Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a pastry chef by profession and had worked for Mr. Bar-B-Que. He was a member of Friendly Chapel Church of Pilot Mountain. Loman was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Spaugh Edwards and seven silblings. He is survived by two sons, Casey Loman Edwards and wife Kristin of Pfafftown and Michael Loman Edwards and wife Michelle of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren, Casey Edwards II, Kurt Edwards, Kathryn Edwards, Courtney Mabe, Michael James Edwards, Jessica Edwards, Jonathan Preiss, Joshua Preiss and Justin Preiss; one great grandchild, Blake Mabe; one sister, Avolene Allen of Boonville; two step-children, Scott Lane and Vickey Lane; also a special friend, Jerry Gregory. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Brother Don Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Pinnacle. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. ""I will meet all my buddies in Heaven"".
