William Clarence Eaton

Mr. William Clarence Eaton, age 87 of Advance, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  He was born December 7, 1935 in Davie County to the late William Broadus Eaton and Lila Rebecca Smith Eaton.  He had retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Eaton Shore.  Surviving are his wife, Eva Atkins Eaton; one son, William Chris Eaton (Annette); two grandsons, William Eaton (Emily) and Samuel Eaton; one granddaughter, Anna Pedersen (Andrew); one great granddaughter, Molly Eaton and two nieces, Brenda Allen (Tim) and Nancy Sheets (Sam).  A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Pastor Wayne Swisher.  Burial will follow in Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Mocksville.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
