William Lawrence Dowe

Mr. William ""Bill"" Lawrence Dowe, 61, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Dowe was born in Mineola, NY on July 7, 1954 to Mr. Wilford Rowland and Dorothy Hines Dowe. Mr. Dowe was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two sisters, Anne-Marie Hicks and husband Ronnie, and Dorothy Davidson and husband Brian; a niece, Amanda Snyder and husband Chris; and a host of cousins and special friends. In addition to his love for his family and friends, Bill was a devoted musician, song writer, and singer from an early age. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, Pastor Dave Demarco officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem,NC 27103.
