William Gregory Colbert

Mr. William Gregory Colbert, 69, passed away February 12, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born November 17, 1941 in Forsyth County to the late William Anderson Colbert and Faye Hamby Colbert. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Miles Elbert Colbert, and a sister, Gloria Jean Taylor. Mr. Colbert was an active member of Robinhood Baptist Church and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after 35 ½ years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Ann Neugent Colbert; two daughters, Brenda and Kelley; one son Stephen, two grandchildren, Chandler and Connor. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Robinhood Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hackworth officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1:00pm - 2:45pm, at the church.
