William "Willie" Bright

Mr. William ""Willie"" Franklin Bright, 66, of Advance, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1950 in Pelham, SC to Oris Smith Bright and James William Bright. Mr. Bright served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Redland Church, IPHC. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kristi; a son, Jason; two brothers, Leroy and Bill Bright. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Cathy Beauchamp Bright; a son, Josh Bright and wife Krystal of Lincolnton and a brother, Virgil Bright and his wife, Dottie of Mocksville. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Redland Church, IPHC with Pastor David Richardson, Pastor Joel K. Boyles and Pastor Tim Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel in Advance.
