BOOZE - Rural Hall Mr. William Elbert Booze, 76, Tobaccoville Road passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born November 24, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late Clifton William and Irene Rierson Booze. Mr. Booze was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 28 years of service. Mr. Booze was an active member of Jefferson Church of Christ and was an avid golfer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Booze was preceded in death by one sister, Donnie Wall. Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, June S. Booze of the home; one daughter, La Donna (Billy) Ingram of Rural Hall; three grandsons, Brandon Ingram of Rural Hall, Brian (Jennifer) Ingram and Dusty Ingram and fiancé©e, Amanda Smith all of King; one granddaughter, Jennifer Ingram of Rural Hall; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Kaylee and Jackson; two sisters, Helen (Hoover) Speas of Rural Hall and Barbara (Jimmie) Byrd of TN; and one brother-in-law, Kermit Wall of Rural Hall. A funeral service will be conducted 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 29 at Jefferson Church of Christ with Jerry Simpkins, Minister and Steve Cook, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P.M. at the church.
