BOLES - Tobaccoville Mr. William Earl ""Bill"" Boles, 83, died on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Monroe, VA on November 28, 1924 to the late Charles Norman and Mary Maude Harris Boles. Mr. Boles was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in WWII. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with over 31 years of service and was a faithful member of Old Richmond Evangelical Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boles was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Speas Boles; two brothers; and two sisters. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 13 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Pastor Bryant Madren officiating. Burial will follow at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery with military rites provided by American Legion Post 290 of King. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Old Richmond Evangelical Methodist Church, 6151 Tobaccoville Road, Tobaccoville, North Carolina 27050 or to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
