William "Bill" Henry Meyer

William Henry "Bill" Meyer, 80, passed away on June 30, 2024, in Kernersville, North Carolina. Born on July 29, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, Bill dedicated five years of his life to the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1971, serving with distinction during a pivotal time in America's military history.

 Following his military service, Bill embarked on a career as a diesel mechanic, a field in which he excelled due to his meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic. Outside of his professional life, Bill had a passion for traveling and gambling. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandsons, participating in and supporting their activities.

 Bill is survived by his daughters, Kristen Meyer and Barbara Campbell (Chip); and grandsons, Kyle (Erica) and Carson Campbell. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Pamela Meyer.

 A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 27th at Oak Ridge Methodist Church. Following the service, the family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a brunch to celebrate Bill's life.
