William Bentley

Mr. William Raymond Bentley, 83, passed away Saturday July 3, 2021 at his home. He was born January 25, 1938 to the late William Johnson Bentley and Ethelyn Shipman Bentley in Cattaragus County New York. William proudly served his county in the United States Air Force, enjoyed solving puzzles, doing yard work around the house, watching NASCAR racing, and worked as a fix it man for many years in the real estate industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers. William is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years; Jeanette Bentley, two daughters; Cheryl Bentley, and Renee Lambertus (Jon), four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister; Ruth Evertts (Dwight). A private family committal service will be held with Mr. Ken Sanders officiating at Forsyth Memorial park.
