William Watkins Bangle

William ""Will/Bill"" Watkins Bangle, 60, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Will was born in Gastonia on January 12, 1957 to Rev. F. W. Dowd Bangle and Willie Christine Broyhill Bangle. Graduating from Stoneville High School, he attended Brevard College, and finished his bachelor's degree at Winston-Salem State University. Will was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hiking and sailing. He also enjoyed studying history and genealogy. In Winston-Salem, he had worked for the W-S Journal, USA Today, Plymouth Printing, and more recently until his illness, he drove school bus #103 for Forsyth County Schools. Preceding him in death were his parents. Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Carollee Pouncy Bangle; daughter, Christina R. Bangle; sister, Kathyrn B. Black; and his special pets - two dogs, Cindy and Baby and cat, Weewill.
