William Jackson Agee, Jr.

AGEE Mr. William Jackson Agee, Jr., 91, of Winston-Salem died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born July 14, 1919 in Forsyth County, the son of the late, William Jackson Agee, Sr. and Katie Mae Zimmerman Agee. Mr. Agee was a former resident of Supply, NC where he was a member of Supply Baptist Church. He served with the US Army during World War II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Agee; and a sister, Nell Hauser. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Agee of Supply; two daughters, Victoria Agee of Winston-Salem and Kim Hefner and husband, Randall of Mocksville; two grandchildren, Jeffery Crawford of Winston-Salem and Chasity Stevens and husband, Wesley of Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Jaden Crawford and Janicka Keeling-Crawford of Guilford County; one step sister, Hazel Throckmorton of Winston-Salem; five stepchildren, Ellis Wooten, Edgar Wooten, Janice Powell and Clarence Wooten of Supply and Nathan Wooten of Georgia; and a number of step great and great great grandchildren. A military graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Crestview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B.
