William Noah 'Bill'Teague

Mr. William Noah ""Bill"" Teague, age 64, of Clemmons, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of June 25, 2011. Born in Winston-Salem, the son of James C. and Mary Teague, Bill was a graduate of Griffith High School and High Point College. Bill served proudly in the United States Air Force 644th Radar Squadron (ADC). His military service included posts in Vietnam, Hawaii, Alaska, Myrtle Beach and Florida, and he attained the rank of Sergeant. Following his discharge from the Air Force, Bill joined R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company where he served for 31 years until his retirement. Dedicated to his community, Bill was a life member in Salem Lodge #289 where he served as Master and Treasurer. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Winston-Salem and a Knight York Cross of Honor in the Winston-Salem York Rite Bodies where he also served as Secretary. He was a Past Sovereign Master in OSIRIS Council #49 AMD and Secretary of Piedmont-Celtic #99 Knight Masons. Bill was also a member of the NC Piedmont York Rite College #124 and The Royal Order of Scotland. He leaves a legacy of unconditional love cherished by his wife, Frankie; son, Robert Shelton (Kim Hunt); daughter Wendy Butler (John); beloved granddaughter Emory; a special cousin, Jeanette Dull; and a multitude of family and special friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 10:30 am at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel followed by a graveside Masonic Funeral at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
