Wilhelmina Pardue passed away March 21, 2011, in Charlotte, NC, after a brief illness. She was born on June 3, 1915, to Louisa Dietz and Frank Herman Roesel in Winston-Salem, NC. In 1933 she married Ross Ancil Pardue who passed away in 1997. Minky had lived at Plantation Estates for the past ten years so she could be closer to her family. She enjoyed her years there playing bridge and traveling with her family. Besides her husband, Minky was predeceased by her son, Robert A. Pardue. She also outlived her three sisters and three brothers. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, Carolyn Eve from Charlotte before she passed away in 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Harper and husband Charles; her grandchildren, Jeff Harper (Michelle), Jennifer Brumer (Matt), Maribeth Blair (Steve); and eight great grandchildren, Charles Harper (Rebecca), Courtney Harper, Ross Harper, Matthew Blisard, Logan Brumer, Zach Blair, Daniel Blair, and Jacob Blair. She's also survived by loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4519 Providence Rd., Charlotte, NC. A graveside service will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Salem Cemetery in Winston-Salem, NC.
