Wilbert 'Rick' Morris Sanders, Jr.

WALKERTOWN - Wilbert ""Rick"" Morris Sanders, Jr., 59, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at his home. He was born March 3, 1954 in Cumberland Co. to the late Wilbert Morris Sanders, Sr. and Ann Sanders. Rick was a very loving person, well-liked by all that knew him. He was very easy going and never met a stranger. He loved motorcycles and his animals, but most of all he loved his partner, children, and grandchildren. Surviving are his vested partner, Robin Hanna; two daughters, Brandi Nichole Sanders and Dawn Annette Phillips; step-daughter, Ashley McKee; Sharon Sanders; five grandchildren, Collin, Mekayla, Rylan, Noah and Tyler; sister, Gloria Cumbo; nephew, Wyatt Cumbo; and many special friends. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating.
