Wesley Willis

Wesley Albert Willis, 58, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his home in Mocksville, NC. Wesley was born on August 2, 1960 in Nashville, TN (where he was raised) to the late Nelson Willis, Jr. and Eleanor Wallech Willis. He was an employee of American Airlines (formerly Piedmont Aviation and US Airways) for 33 years. Wesley was an avid golfer and loved sports, especially NASCAR, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Mark and Kevin Willis. Surviving family includes his daughter, Christal (Kyle) Lindsey of Mocksville, NC; one brother, Jason Willis of Nashville, TN; one nephew, Jeremy (Rebecca) of Nashville, TN; one niece, Marcia (Lewis) Lively of Nashville, TN; one sister-in-law, Donna Willis of Nashville, TN; former spouse and mother of Christal, Jane Willis of East Bend, NC; one very special grand-dog, Veyron; and numerous extended family members. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel in Winston-Salem, NC.  Additional services and burial will take place in Nashville, TN later this week.
