Wayne Crosby Williams, Jr.

COLFAX - Mr. Wayne Crosby Williams, Jr., 49, died Saturday, April 6, 2013. Wayne was born on August 5, 1963 in Pittsylvania County, VA to Wayne Crosby Williams, Sr. and Geraline Butts Williams. Wayne grew up in Colfax, NC, graduating from Northwest Guilford High School and worked for Steel Performance for over 20 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Crosby Williams, Sr.; one brother, Gregory Malloy Williams and his maternal grandparents. Surviving are his wife, Diane Allen Williams; his mother, Geraline; one son, Cody James Williams; three step children, Stacy Loyd, Randy Favre and Brandy Neese; five grandchildren; and one brother, Christopher Alan Williams. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 9, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
