Wayne Nelson Moose

Mr. Wayne Nelson Moose, 92, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Trinity Elms Assisted Living. He was born in Indiana County, PA, the son of the late, Harvey Willis and Ethel Nelson Moose. Mr. Moose served with the US Army Air Force during World War II and the Korean War retiring as a highly Decorated War Veteran. He also retired from the Piedmont Air Lines where he was a Chief Pilot. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Brown and a sister, Thelma Myers. Survivors include his wife, Kay Moose of the home; his sister, Mildred Moose of Lewisville; two daughters, Virginia Brown of Southaven, MS and Deborah Adams of Memphis, TN; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
