Wayne Holland

Mr. Wayne Carl “Chipper” Holland, 75, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born May 18, 1945 in Forsyth County to the late Carl Cladie Holland and Mildred Davis Holland.  Mr. Holland was a member of First Baptist Church of Stanleyville and retired from R. J. Reynolds in 2000 with 33 years of dedicated service.  He was an avid Carolina basketball and football fan.  Mr. Holland loved saltwater fishing and deer hunting.  Most of all, he loved his grandbabies.  Mr. Holland is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol Holland; daughter, Traci Holland Brownlee (Patrick); two grandsons, Austin (Sarah) and Drew Brownlee; great-granddaughter, Isabella Lynn Brownlee; sister, Bessie Ann Weatherford (Kenny); niece, Lisa Hicks; and great-nephew, Andy Davis.  Due to the current health conditions, a private memorial service will be conducted for the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Stanleyville or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
