Wayne Allen Frost

KERNERSVILLE-Wayne Allen Frost, 53, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009. He was born May 28, 1955 in Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Carol Bissett Frost and the late Leslie Frost. Wayne was a member of First Christian Church in Kernersville. He served in the US Army from 1972 to 1976 and was a proud veteran. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and a cherished son and brother. In addition to his mother surviving are his wife, Robin Simpson Frost of the home; two children, Shannon Frost Ditt and husband Troy of California, and Kyle Frost and wife Courtney of Walkertown; four grandchildren, Adam, Anson, and Elizabeth Ditt, and Kendall Frost; two sisters, Karen Neitz, and Linda McPherson; four brothers, Warren, Jim, Rob, and Brian Frost; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 1, 2009 at First Christian Church in Kernersville with the Rev. Pete Kunkle and the Rev. Wayne Branch officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm, Saturday, January 31-, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home Kernersville Chapel.Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation Research For Rheumatoid Arthritis, PO Box 96280, Washington, DC 20077.
