Waughnel Lawrence Pfaff

Waughnel Lawrence Pfaff, 88, passed away Sunday, April 05, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth County to the late Marion B. and Mamie Faircloth Lawrence. Mrs. Pfaff was a member at Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ and retired from Wachovia Bank. Preceding her in death was her husband Phillip Edward Pfaff. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Ryan (James) of Lewisville; son, Phil Pfaff of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Michael Cole (Angie) and Randal Cole; also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Jesse and Austin Cole. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care Center 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to send special thanks to the staff at the Oaks at Forsyth for their love and care over the past seven years and to Hospice for all their care during this time.
