Mr. Warren William Woodruff, 80, of Boonville, NC, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

He was born in Surry County, NC, on May 24, 1944, to the late Warren and Sarah Brown. He worked as a purchasing agent at AMP, Inc. in Greensboro for many years.

He was married to Diane Woodruff, the love of his life. He also loved his dog, Blaz. Warren loved racing, NASCAR, golf, football, and sports. He loved to race his Corvette, and enjoyed many types of music. He especially loved all the countless chocolate eclairs from Dewey’s Bakery, which his sister-in-law so generously brought every week.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Woody, and his special dad, Paul.

Survivors include his loving wife, Diane; his brothers, Johnny and Jim; his sister-in-law, Barbara; nephews, Paul (Beth) and Brent (Celes); great-nephews, Max, Sam, and Alexander; great-niece, Emily; brother-in-law, Bill Sfikas (Myra); and sister-in-law, Helen Uhl.

A graveside service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 2 p.m.

A special thank you to all the staff at Forsyth Medical Center in the ICU, Palliative Care, and Hospice for taking good care of Warren. Also, thank you to Brittany Mahan, who was more than available when needed. Thanks also to Billy and Helen for spending countless hours at the hospital so Diane could go home and rest.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Warren's name to Christian Jew Foundation Ministries P.O. Box 345, San Antonio, TX 78292, or the Yadkin County Animal Shelter, 1027 Speaks Street, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
