Mr. Warren Ross Cloer, 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his residence. His last days were spent with his family around him. He was born on April 16, 1948 in Plant City, Florida to Evelyn Munsey Cloer and William Warren Cloer. We are thankful we were blessed to have Warren with us for 72 years. If you knew Warren, you knew you had a friend. He was selfless in pouring his life into his church, family, friends, and neighbors. Warren was a very kind, gentle and God loving man. Warren graduated from high school in Miami Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida. He worked as a computer programmer and IT specialist. Warren loved cats, watching TV, and collecting sea coral. He spent his childhood at several Coast Guard Ports because of his father’s military service and enjoyed going to the beach. He liked listening to classic rock music and doing things in the yard. Warren was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He loved playing with his grandchildren, and they will miss all his Christmas shenanigans.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Debra Ernest Cloer; a daughter, Vikki Cloer Heaney; a son in law, Edward Heaney; granddaughters, Savannah Marie Heaney (Kyle Spainhour), Emma Jane Heaney and Abigail Nicole Heaney; a brother, William Cloer of Cape May New Jersey, a sister, Cynthia Cloer Adams of Plant City Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to restrictions for public gatherings, there will be no formal visitation, however, a private memorial service for Warren will be held at the Hayworth-Miller Winston Salem Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC.
